  1. Neurological support data decribe neurological support for all patients with available data, including those for whom no neurological support was required. Of those individuals requiring at least 1 day of neurological support, a median of 3 days (IQR 2–7) were required. N = number of patients for whom data are available, included in that statistic. Statistic = the median (1st and 3rd quartile) value for continuous data, and the number and frequency (%) of patients with the characteristic for categorical data. *Assessed at critical care unit discharge, this assesses the expected dependency in the two weeks following discharge from the acute hospital. CSF = cerebrospinal fluid
