Hyperactive erythropoiesis, active granulopoiesis and megakaryopoiesis.

LD body was virtually absent.

Splenic Biopsy

LD bodies were present (Fig. 3)

Slit Skin Smear

Dense infiltration of histocytes and lymphocytes, many of the histocytes were packed with LD bodies (Fig. 4)
