The correlations between the age and TGF-β, IFN-α, and SERPINE1 serum levels in four age groups of patients A (patients under 20 years), B (patients between 20 to 40 years), C (patients between 40 to 60 years), D (patients above 60 years). The Pearson correlation coefficient (r) and p values are shown in each cell, and the range of the confidence interval of r (between -1 and 1) is illustrated in the side box of the graphs. There was no significant correlation between the variables in different age groups. A p-value less than 0.05 is considered statistically significant
