Dengue cases in Recife city, Brazil. Dengue cases were analyzed considering the total number of cases per year (A) and their distribution according to sex (B), age group (C) and race/color (D). Cases were reported between 2011 and 2013 (DENV circulation) and between 2016 and 2018 (DENV, CHIKV and ZIKV co-circulation). Data were made available by the Pernambuco Health Department. Statistical analyses were performed using the χ2 test. A p-value < 0.05 and a 95% confidence interval were considered in all analyses. DENV: dengue virus; CHIKV: chikungunya virus; ZIKV: Zika virus
