Four cases had abnormal intracranial signals in the thalamus, parietal lobe and basal ganglia; two cases had hypointense foci in the temporal lobe; one case had abnormal enhancement of the cerebellar hemisphere with edema; two cases had ischemic foci in the basal ganglia and hemi-oval area and two cases had basal ganglia and temporal lobe lacunar infarcts.
