Table 1 Data selection criteria

MTB-LD	1. TB-PCR test positive
NTM-LD	1. Pulmonary or systemic symptoms
	– Cough, chest pain, dyspnea, fevers, hemoptysis
	– Other suspicious disease, such as tuberculosis, can be ruled out
	2. Radiologic
	– Nodular or cavitary opacities in chest radiograph
	3. Microbiologic
	– Positive culture results from at least two separate expectorated sputum or positive culture results from at least one bronchial wash or lavage
