From: Mobility was a significant determinant of reported COVID-19 incidence during the Omicron Surge in the most populous U.S. Counties

Estimates of the Interaction Parameters \({\beta }_{t}\) in the Longitudinal Model of Eq. (1). Except for the reference week ending 12/6/21, each week \(t\) has its own interaction parameter \({\beta }_{t}\), which measures the marginal impact of a change in the mobility indicator from 12/20/21 to 1/3/22 (\(\varDelta\) Mobility) on the incremental reported incidence of COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population (\(\varDelta\) Incidence). The error bars surrounding each estimate are 95% confidence intervals. Starting with the week ending 1/17/22 and continuing through the week ending 2/14/22, the estimated parameters were positive and the null hypothesis of no association with changes in mobility could be rejected at the 5% level
