  1. The nail HBV DNA level of the 34 nail HBsAg-positive patients ranged from 3.6 to 6.9 log copies/mL (median 5.0 log copies/mL). The nail HBV DNA level of the 25 nail HBsAg-negative patients ranged from 3.0 to 6.7 log copies/mL (median 4.3 log copies/mL). There was a significant difference in the nail HBV DNA level between the nail HBsAg-positive and -negative patients (p < 0.01)
