  1. Abbreviations: IC SS + index case has positive sputum smear microscopy, LTBI Latent Tuberculosis Infection, TB tuberculosis, TST tuberculin skin test, QTFG Quantiferon-TB gold plus test
  2. a Latent TB infection: tested for immune response for TB infection (QuantiFERON positive, or TST when QuantiFERON not available) with positive result and not diagnosed as active TB
  3. b Tuberculosis infection: as diagnosed by Doctor based on bacteriological and/or clinical symptoms
  4. c Tuberculin skin test; 5 mm or more considered reactive (positive)
  5. d Home contacts are those who live in the same household as the index case
  6. e Immune response is positive QuantiFERON. When QTFG not available, TST is used
