Immunization with C6 promotes IFN-γ and TNF-α secretion and decreases IL-10 release. Thirty days later of the Mtb challenge, lymphocytes of spleen and lymph nodes isolated from the BCG + C6 immunized and control animals were in vitro stimulated for 72 h with PPD and peptides. Later, culture SNs were harvested and monitored by ELISA for the production of a IFN-γ; b TNF-α; and c IL-10.
