Two study areas in Mukuru (Mukuru Kwa Ruben and Mukuru Kwa Njenga) showing mapped zones. The map shows study area zone boundaries in Mukuru Njenga and Mukuru Reuben, Nairobi, Kenya. The boundaries and road tracks were mutually agreed with local authority and later digitized against a backdrop of June 2013 Google Earth Imagery on ArcGis 10.2. The ground –truthed points were collected by hand held GPS to depict locations of social amenities important in the study
