Ten serum miRNA levels in TB patients and healthy controls were selected for verification using real-time qRT-PCR in individual TB patients ( N = 30 ) and healthy controls ( N = 65 ) . Serum levels of miR-361-5p, miR-889, miR-576-3p, miR-210, miR-26a, miR-432 and miR-134 were significantly higher in TB patients compared with those in the control group (**, P < 0.01, * P < 0.05) while no significant differences were detected in the expression of miR-423-5p, miR-335 and miR-144*. Expression levels of the miRNAs are normalized to miR-16 (Log2 relative level).
