Distribution of C. trachomatis pgp3 antibody (log2 RLU) value among women with infertility and those presenting for routine physical examination. Serum samples were collected from 480 women with infertility and 263 women undergoing routine physical examination. There were no significant differences in the prevalence of C. trachomatis pgp3 between women with positive C. trachomatis DNA in the infertility (86.67%, 26/30) and routine physical examination (95%, 19/20) groups (p > 0.05). However, compared to women with positive C. trachomatis DNA, those with negative C. trachomatis DNA had a markedly higher C. trachomatis seroprevalence (56.74%, 261/460 vs. 20.17%, 47/233) (p < 0.001).
