Compared to the totality of genes which are expressed in the hippocampus at 1 day after infection, the GO terms written in red are significantly over-represented in the collective of the significantly regulated genes in the hippocampus at 1 day after infection. Blue sections in pie charts illustrate the proportion of significantly down-regulated genes, red sections stand for significantly up-regulated genes. Strikingly, in all of the GO terms involved in developmental processes in general the significantly down-regulated genes are predominant.
