Biochemical characterization of clonal plaque isolates derived from 14-P4 in MRC-5 cells. Western blot analysis of TK protein products from five clonal isolates of virus sample 14-P4. Lanes A through E represent infected cell protein extract from isolates 14-P4A, 14-P4B, 14-P4C, 14-P4D and 14-P4E. Mock represents uninfected MRC-5 cell protein extract. Wild type TK, indicated as WT SC16, is a 43 kD polypeptide expressed from an HSV-1 SC16 infected cell extract.
