  1. Microbiological detections in patients admitted with acute respiratory tract infection and who were able to provide a sample from the lower respiratory tract. Ninety-six patients from the pre-COVID cohort (included before the COVID-19 pandemic) are compared with 80 patients from the COVID cohort (included during the COVID-19 pandemic). Data are shown as counts with percent in brackets. The percentage was calculated as proportion of patients in the respective cohorts. P-values are calculated by using Fisher’s exact test
