The AUC value for NLCR alone were significantly higher than Lactate, SOFA score and CRP (a) (p < 0.05). The AUC value for Shapiro+NLCR was significantly higher than all other but NLCR (p < 0.05) (a). Due to the limited predictive performance of Lactate, SOFA score and CRP only Shapiro score and/or NLCR was used in (b). In (b) no statistical significant difference was observed between the individual AUC values
