Predicted 3D structures of spike proteins of SARS-CoV-2. Graphical representation of multiple SARS-CoV-2 spike protein amino acid sequence alignment (Wuhan-Hu-1, RaTG13 and Anhui strains). One stack for each position in the sequence. Numbers are based on the Wuhan-Hu-1 sequence. The overall height of the stack indicates the sequence conservation at that position, while the height of symbols within the stack indicates the relative frequency of each amino acid at that position. The model was built on the basis of the structure of SARS-CoV-2 spike glycoprotein (Protein Data Bank ID: 6vsb.1.A). Spike proteins were aligned using PyMOL. Blue is the 335-516RBD region of the spike protein is shown in blue and the red circle highlights the presence of a variable region in the spike proteins of Anhui strains. Due to the lack of 152, 838 and 485 sites in the model, the three variations W152R, G838S and G485R are not marked
