Suppression of IGF-1 production in liver during sepsis. C57BL/6 mice were induced for sepsis by cecal ligation and puncture. Twenty-four hours later, blood samples and liver tissues were collected. The liver tissues were examined by RT-qPCR for the mRNA expressions of IGF-1 (a), GHR (c), and SOCS3 (d).
