Time series plot illustrating the regression of lymphadenopathy during anti-TB treatment. The lymph node size (long axis of largest swelling) is presented at baseline, after 2 months of treatment and at treatment completion according to TB category (confirmed, probable and possible TB cases) and age. Each patient is represented by an individual line. At baseline, all, except one case, had lymph node enlargement > 2 cm. At 2 months, there was a trend in regression of lymph node swellings, and at treatment completion, 4 (14%) cases had residual lymphadenopathy. The patients with residual lymphadenopathy were all confirmed TB cases. Abbreviation: TB, tuberculosis
