Mean values of cytokine levels in stimulated PBMC culture supernatants. Freshly isolated PBMC (12 donors in each group) from HIV-LTBI-, HIV-LTBI+, HIV + LTBI-, HIV + LTBI+ individuals, and HIV + TB+ patients were cultured with or without ESAT-6 and CFP-10 (10 μg/ml each).
