Effect of A. fumigatus on PU.1 translocation. THP-1 cells were stimulated with A. fumigatus at an MOI of 1. At 2, 8, and 12 h after stimulation, cell lysates were separated into cytoplasmic and nuclear fractions. Both cytoplasmic (a) and nuclear proteins (b) were analyzed by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotting with anti-PU.1 antibodies to reveal the localization of PU.1. Nucleus-specific anti-Histone antibodies and cytoplasmic-specific anti-β-tubulin antibodies were used as controls. The experiments were repeated at least thrice, and the data from one representative experiment with two technical repeats are presented (*, p < 0.05)
