The expression of miRNA-133a is regulated by the 3'UTR of DENV. Vero cells were transfected with a pEGFP plasmid carrying the 3'UTR of DENV-1, −2, or −4. miRNA-133a expression was evaluated at 12, 24, 48 and 72 hpt by RT-PCR and normalized to an untransfected control and to the 18S RNA (ΔΔ Ct).
