APC high -mice show an unaltered procoagulant response. Mice were infected intranasally with 5*104 CFU of S. pneumoniae. After 6 and 48 hours levels of TATc were measured in lung homogenates (A) and plasma (B) of WT and APChigh-mice. No differences were seen between WT and APChigh-mice.
