Species identification and reports given based on rapid testing on consecutive patient samples. The flowchart approach in Figures 1 and 2 was used to analyse gram-positive samples from patients in Kalmar from March 1st 2009 to January 31st 2010. The chart shows the information given to clinicians at different times.
