C: Coronal and axial NMR images: contrast-enhanced cortico-subcortical abnormalities in the middle-distal diaphysis of the left tibia. D: PET/CT fused images (coronal and axial): increased uptake of FDG in the diaphyseal cortex of the left tibia associated with structural alterations probably connected to inflammatory results.
