18 years ≤ Age < 60 years

History of sore throat and/or odynophagia ≤ 3 days

•

≤ 1 McIsaac score

Exclusion

•

History of sore throat and/or odynophagia > 3 days

•

Symptoms of sore throat and/or odynophagia caused by local irritation of mucous membranes as a result of gastroesophageal reflux
