The lower-left area indicates immunological deterioration but clinical improvement, and the lower right area indicates deterioration with respect to both immunologic and clinical classifiers. B: The blue arrow indicates the overall rate of progression in the first year after treatment initiation (i.e. both clinical and immunologic parameters are improving). It was computed using the formula depicted in the Methods section (“Rates of clinical/immunological progression”). C: Overall rate of progression during the second year.
