The mean OD values of anti-HEV IgG showed significant increase according to the increase of the age in both assays (P value = 0.002 in the Wantai assay, P value = 0.003 in the Genelabs assay; P values calculated by ANOVA). The overall OD values were higher in men than woman, with no significant difference between the two in both assays.
