  1. 1000 copies of HPV-16 DNA were amplified in a background of various copies of human DNA and detected in real-time PCR assays for quantitation of HPV-16 E6 and HPV-16 E2. Results are means ± 1 standard deviation of duplicate values. Repeat experiments gave similar results.
