Notes: • For DOTS, two alternative estimations are shown that differ in the counterfactual scenarios (see description in Methods). • Not included in the lives saved estimations are the - relatively small - numbers of service deliveries through multi-country grants (see Tables 3, 4 and 5). • Error bars represent 95% uncertainty ranges on the estimates, as described in Methods. ARV = antiretroviral treatment; DOTS = directly observed TB treatment, short course; ITN = insecticide-treated mosquito net.
